Each card you remove from the tableau is worth 20 points.Your game score is cumulative across levels.If you have 2 parallel paths you are debating you can leverage the move undo button to try both paths before choosing which one to stick with.This game is not timed, so if you want to maximize your score the keys to doing so are activating the chain bonus multiplier & efficiently using your reserve cards so that you have many left at the end of the level.If there is a special card buried in a column it makes sense to try to get rid of whatever cards are above it early in the game, as the matching special card that can deal with a roped or chained card also blocks any cards which are underneath the sword or hammer.If often makes sense to use Jokers early to help open up the playing field while your draw stack still has many cards in it.Like most games of Tripeaks you typically want to go after whichever plays help you open up the board quickly & whichever cards have many cards underneath them.If you replay a level you will see the same exact board layout, though the cards will be reshuffled. You can replay levels again as this game offers unlimited continues.If you run out of cards while still having beetle cards remaining on the tableau that you can not play you lose the level.Some stacks may not have a beetle card under them, meaning you can leave some cards on the tableau and still beat the level early by collecting all the beetle cards.You beat levels by collecting all of the golden Scarabaeus sacer (or beetle) cards on them.Levels are not timed but each stage has a unique board layout.Your new score will only replace the old score if you earn a higher score.You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.This game has 100 levels which are unlocked sequentially.If a card has the word “Double” on it that means there is 2 of the same card on top of each other.Cards with a chain can be broke free by dragging a hammer card into them.Cards on a rope can be broke free by dragging a sword card into them.Remove cards from the tableau which are one higher or lower than the card atop the waste pile & draw another card from the reserves when no other moves remain.If there is a bonus card included in the level it will be dealt face up even if it is not atop a stack.Some levels also includes unique bonus cards, which are described in the section below.This game uses a standard deck of 52 cards, but each board has a unique layout.The level select screen shows which levels you have beat and what score you earned on each.On the right there are 5 buttons to undo moves, pause the game, switch to full screen mode, control game music, and control game sound.The waste pile has a number on the lower right which indicates your chain multiple.The draw pile has a number to its lower left indicating how many cards you have left.You can only go through the draw pile once.In the center are the draw and waste piles.On the left the game shows your current level number, current level score, how many golden beetles you have collected, and how many you need to collect to beat the level.Game controls are along the bottom of the screen.Tap the screen with a finger to select a card to play onto the waste pile, or to select a card from the reserves if you have no plays available on the tableau.Use your mouse left click button to select a card to play onto the waste pile, or to select a card from the reserves if you have no plays available on the tableau.The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for game settings, social media sharing & reading game developer information.The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.Near the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.Select the Play button near the center of the welcome screen to start the game.Remove cards from the tableau that are numerically one above or below the card atop the waste pile.
